Role out the Barrel

As a recap of the basics of Maya for the first 3D modelling brief of the new semester we challenged the second year games design students to produce a low polygon model of a barrel.
The brief requires attention to best practise guidelines for export to the Udk engine and to use the uv map and texture effectively. Students are encouraged to hand paint their own textures in Photoshop with a touch pen.
